Ian M. Wu, MD

Dr. Ian M. Wu is a board-certified physician who specializes in kidney disease, the management of hypertension, and kidney dialysis. He also has a special interest in kidney transplant care and management and autoimmune kidney diseases.
Dr. Wu received his undergraduate degree in biology, with a minor in psychology, from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Wu then went on to complete his residency training in internal medicine at Brown University’s medical school, followed by a fellowship in nephrology and hypertension at Yale University’s School of Medicine.
Prior to moving to Massachusetts, Dr. Wu worked as a hospitalist and nephrologist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Wu received his board certification in nephrology and internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Wu enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and daughter.
